ZombiU
I like my Wii, I really do. Unfortunately, it left me less than confident that I would ever get a new Nintendo console again. So when the Wii U was announced, I was admittedly skeptical.
And then they announced ZombiU.
I'll be upfront: I love horror games. My favorite video games have always been old-school Resident Evil, Silent Hill, and Fatal Frame.. Unfortunately, the last generation of horror was plagued by what I'll call "Michael Bay Action Syndrome," ignoring slow pacing and atmosphere in favor of explosions and pumping enemies full of so much lead that they explode (presumably from the cancer brought on by said lead). The Lancashire City Council has recently stated that they're including him in their commemorative book celebrating 25 years of their book awards (the longest running regional book awards in the UK); Jacques is the only person to have won their Book of the Year three times, chosen exclusively by young people across the UK.
If you've never read any of the books in the Redwall series, I suggest you read these excellent
